Dr. Kai-Markus Mueller, Chief Executive Officer
He has accumulated more than 13 years of experience in neuroscience research, 10 in academia and 3 in applied consumer neuroscience. Previously, he worked as a strategy consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners. Kai obtained his PhD from the International Max-Planck Research School at the University of Tuebingen. He holds master’s degrees in both psychology as well as Neural and Behavioural Sciences from the International Max-Planck Research School. He conducted his entire dissertation research at a high-tech facility of the US government: The Laboratory of Neuropsychology at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, MD.
From 2009 to 2011, Dr. Müller worked as a management consultant with international strategy consultants Simon-Kucher & Partners. His recent book “NeuroPricing – how customers think about prices” has been published in German in fall of 2012.

Nathalie Liegel, Research Scientist
Nathalie joined The Neuromarketing Labs in 2014 and completes the team with her expertise in neurobiology and cognitive science. Her main research interest focuses on unconscious emotional processes. Since several years, Nathalie also has an active interest in neuromarketing. At The Neuromarketing Labs, she has already successfully managed projects from banking, pharma, automotive and more.
Nathalie studied biochemistry, biology and psychology at Ulm University and the University of Newcastle (Australia). She worked several years in different areas of academic research, amongst others on her master thesis publication. Nathalie has been awarded a number of prestigious awards, amongst others the “Baden-Württemberg-scholarship” for exceptional academic achievements.
